Reflections

This mixed media piece is a combination of acrylic paint and oil pastels. The paint was applied with paint rollers and palette knives, making this an extremely experimental work for me. I used to be very perfectionistic with my art, which I realized took the fun out of it. "Reflections," which primarily focuses on the light reflecting on and around a series of reflective objects, serves as a way to reflect on myself each time I look at it. It helps me see art more-so as an expressive outlet where nothing is right or wrong.
