Scholastic Art Gold Key recipient" Taste of Home" features a delicious bite from my home country, China. This painting utilizes oil paints to recreate an image of a noodle breakfast I took when visiting China back in 2017. My primary goal for this painting was realism, where I mainly worked to capture the light reflecting off the table, bowls, and broth.
