Thematic Word Book
This project taught students the value and inventive potential of typographic form. Students were tasked to create unique type compositions using 4 sentences, and support the sentences with illustrations of a chosen animal. These pages were then printed and assembled into a 4 page accordion-fold book format with a front and back cover. I chose to create a book on capybaras - a unique animal that is large in form but docile in manner. This thematic book was placed in the 2023 Purdue Undergraduate Art & Design show as well.
